CLG have announced that team coach Faruk "pita" Pita will be their fifth player for the duration of ELEAGUE. The North American team have been on the lookout for a new fifth player for almost a month now after parting ways with Jacob "FugLy" Medina, who has since signed for NRG. With CLG due to play in ELEAGUE on Tuesday, fans were left wondering what the roster would look like in the league, after the team had played their last official matches with Faruk "pita" Pita as a stand-in.
In a statement, CLG explain that, "although there were other options to pursue prior to ELEAGUE", going with pita, who has been the team's coach since December, "was the best possible option given the circumstances."
CLG will face SK Gaming, Astralis and NRG in ELEAGUE, with their first match pitting them against Jacob "Pimp" Winneche's team. Their roster for ELEAGUE will look as follows:
